Where we work
We're based in Courtice and we cover Durham Region. The seven towns below are where we do most of our residential work. For commercial, we'll travel a bit wider — call and ask.
We're deliberately not a “GTA-wide” installer driving an hour each way for a one-day job. We stay close to home so we can show up fast for the install and faster if something needs a service call later.
Courtice — home base
We're based in Courtice, so most local installs are close to home. If you live in Courtice, you're getting an installer who knows the neighbourhoods, the newer subdivisions, the older homes, and the common soffit styles we see here. We're already working in and around Courtice, Bowmanville, and Oshawa regularly.
Bowmanville
Bowmanville is one of the fastest-growing towns in Durham, and the further north you get into newer subdivisions, the more cameras we install — these are big lots with long driveways and plenty of porch deliveries. We do plenty of work in older Bowmanville too: the streets around historic downtown, side-of-the-creek properties off Liberty Street, and the established neighbourhoods east of King. The install style adapts to the house. Brick goes up clean, and soffit runs are easy on most newer builds.
Whitby, including Brooklin
Whitby splits into two install styles for us. Older Whitby — south of Dundas, around historic downtown and Port Whitby — is established homes where we usually fish cable through the basement and attic. Brooklin in the north is mostly newer builds, big yards, and longer cable runs. Both are easy work. We do a lot of driveway-and-door installs around here.
Oshawa
Oshawa is our biggest mix — pre-war homes near downtown, mid-century neighbourhoods, big newer subdivisions in the north end, plus a fair bit of small-business and retail work along Simcoe and King. Plenty of our Oshawa calls are about porch theft and driveway concerns. We're in and around Oshawa regularly.
Clarington, including Newcastle, Orono, Tyrone, and rural Clarington
Clarington as a municipality includes Bowmanville and Courtice. Those get their own listings above because they're where many calls come from. This entry covers everywhere else: Newcastle, Orono, Tyrone, and the rural properties further north and east. Rural Clarington jobs are different — bigger lots, longer cable runs, sometimes outbuildings or barns to cover. We're set up for this kind of work and we don't charge a “rural surcharge.”
Pickering
Pickering is the western edge of our standard service area. We do residential work across most of the city — older Pickering Village, the lakefront subdivisions in West Shore, newer Seaton developments, and out to Claremont. Pickering installs are often driveway-focused, especially for customers worried about vehicles overnight.
Ajax
Ajax is the other end of Durham for us. Coverage is the same as Pickering — full residential, plus small commercial when it comes up. Drive time from Courtice is usually about 25 minutes.
Outside Durham?
We occasionally do commercial work outside the seven towns above — small offices, contractor shops, retail. If you're in Port Hope, Cobourg, Port Perry, Uxbridge, Scugog, or just east of Durham, give us a call and we'll let you know whether the trip works for the size of the job.
For a straight residential 4-camera install outside Durham, honestly, you'll be better served by a local installer in your own town. Closer is better for service calls down the road.
